Introduction

By travelling with Honey Guide Tours (Pty) Ltd, you agree to the Terms & Conditions outlined below. Our experiences take you into real conservation environments, where professionalism, safety, and respect for wildlife guide everything we do.

Bookings & Payment

Your booking is confirmed once your deposit is received. The remaining balance is due by the date specified on your invoice.
All pricing is quoted in USD unless otherwise noted.
Guests are responsible for any bank fees, currency differences, or transfer charges.

Cancellations & Changes

Because our trips involve conservation partners, specialist guides, and hand-selected lodges, cancellations affect numerous stakeholders.

Cancellation policy:
• 60+ days before arrival — refund minus deposit
• 30–60 days — 50% refund
• Less than 30 days — non-refundable

We will always try to assist with date changes where possible, depending on availability.

Conservation Activities

Some experiences include participation in ongoing conservation work, such as wildlife monitoring or veterinary-supervised procedures.

By joining these activities, you acknowledge that:
• All work is led by specialists
• Wildlife behaviour is unpredictable
• Scheduling may shift based on animal safety
• Activities may be replaced or adjusted as needed

Your safety — and the wellbeing of wildlife — are always prioritised.

Travel Requirements

Guests are responsible for:
• Valid passports
• Visas where applicable
• Travel insurance
• Recommended vaccinations or preventative measures

Comprehensive travel insurance is strongly recommended.

Liability

While every precaution is taken, outdoor and wildlife experiences carry inherent risk.

Honey Guide is not liable for:
• Loss or damage of personal items
• Delays or changes caused by weather, wildlife, or partner operations
• Injury or illness not caused by negligence

We ask all guests to follow guide instructions at all times.

Photography & Media

Images captured during your journey may be used for educational or marketing purposes.
If you prefer not to appear in photography, please let us know in writing before your trip.

Conservation Funding

A portion of every booking supports targeted conservation work. Allocation varies based on real-time needs, emergency responses, and partner priorities.
